Implants in orthodontics allow us to move other teeth in a fantastic way because implants do not move at all!

On other occasions, orthodontic treatment is oriented to open space to be able to emplace an implant that does not fit.

This is the case of an adult patient in which we use implants for both purposes.

In the upper arch we opened space for the upper left canine, which was missing and had space, but very little. Once opened, the implantologist put the implant and his dentist put the crown.

The lower arch lacked a lot of space for canines and lower incisors. We used the spaces of the missing teeth in the posterior area to emplace two implants and using the anchorage the implants provided, we moved the anterior teeth until they were completely aligned. The same implants served to support the crown that replaced the missing teeth and to facilitate the orthodontic alignment of the teeth !!!
